We are looking for solutions that reflect creativity, connection, community, and sustainability at the heart of their framework.

Funding Eligibility
…
Organization.
We require your foundation to be:
A non-profit or registered charity in BC;
Focused on one or more of our priorities;
Aligned with our funding values; and
Working within the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions.
Priorities.
The work of your foundation must address one or more of the following:
Housing;
we look to support projects at the local and regional level that add to the affordable, non-subsidized housing stock to support families’ diverse housing needs.
Education;
we invite programs that empower and protect the right to education for vulnerable persons, particularly youth and those with an under-supported mental health or learning need.
Environment;
we aim to empower local and regional organizations that protect and enhance the environment for future generations.
Values.
Your application must reflect consideration of the following four values:
Creativity;
How does your foundation creatively match the complexity of the issue area? What makes the scope and content of your work stand apart from others? How will this generate value-added progress?
Connectivity;
How does your project or program understand and respect the complexity of the issue area? How do you connect the goals and outcomes to this context?
Community;
How does your foundation engage with the people impacted, your on-the-ground team, and the local authorities and service providers who may be involved? How is it informed by the local environment?
Sustainability;
What are the developmental evaluation methods you will use to track change? How will the measures be used as feedback to foster adaptation and resiliency over the long-term?
Our foundation considers these principles integral to appropriately address the complex priorities of our funding opportunities.
